RECORDING SNEAK-PEAK!

January 2024

After two demanding days at Jeremy Tressler's dreamy recording space, Dreamflower Acoustic, we have completed a significant chapter of our recording journey! 

We will embark on the editing process this spring and summer, but for now will take a much-deserved rest. You can expect to hear more about the release later this year!

LUMINAE TRIO RECEIVES GRANT FROM
CHAMBER MUSIC AMERICA

Luminae Trio is a recipient of a 2023 grant from Chamber Music America’s Ensemble Forward program, funded through the generosity of the New York Community Trust.

We can finally share the exciting news that the Luminae Trio has been awarded an Ensemble Forward grant from Chamber Music America. The grant provides funding for the creation of a demo recording, which will take place later this year or in early 2024. Cellist Andrew Yee of the Attacca Quartet will act as our coach and mentor as we prepare for this new project. We are thrilled to be welcomed into the CMA community!

LUMINAE TRIO RECOGNIZED WITH CITY ARTIST CORPS GRANT FROM NEW YORK FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS (NYFA) AND THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS (DCLA)

Luminae Trio will present free public concert at East Elmhurst Community School PS 329 as part of award program

New York, NY – Classical chamber ensemble Luminae Trio is one of 3,000 New York City-based artists to receive $5,000 through the City Artist Corps Grants program, presented by The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) as well as Queens Theatre.

As part of their award, the Luminae Trio will present an eclectic concert of chamber music for the East Elmhurst Community School PS 329's Saturday Music Program. The concert is open to students, families, and the general public at 26-25 97th St on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 3pm.

LUMINAE TRIO AWARDED 3RD PRIZE IN 2021 LANCASTER INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER MUSIC COMPETITION

July 2021

 

Luminae Trio was awarded 3rd Prize in the Young Artist division of the 2021 Lancaster International Chamber Music Competition.
